Ashanti Douglas is also referred to as Ashanti was born in Glen Cove New York United States on October 13th 1980. She is an American singer as well as songwriter. Ashanti began her career in the teen years, she was signed by Murder Inc. Records by 2002. Ashanti was featured in the Fat Joe's What's Luv? song that the same year. The singer also featured on Fat Joe's song"What's Luv!" and the Ja Rules' track Never In Time, both of which became huge hit songs. In the case of Foolish and The What's Luv at Number One She became the first woman to have two songs that were in the Billboard Hot 100 chart top 10 in the United States. Hey Baby After the Club was released on 16 October to radio and digital stores. Also, she was in the films Christmas in the City, Army Wives and Latasha Monteclair. Her track Rock wit U was sampled by British artist Aitch to accompany his track Baby on March 10 2022.
