Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. She was best known as Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. Her other appearances are Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as a child as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio and she continued her interest in performing on theatre. She attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student at Northwestern University. Anna had a brief stint performing in Chicago theater before transitioning to TV and film roles. Anna's debut role was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. The actress continued to make appearances as a guest star in a handful of TV shows and films including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue until the late 90's when she was cast in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Also, she starred in the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. In 2022 the actress also appeared in a series of audio play podcast called Numbered Days. Breaking Bad's story is usually driven by the relationship between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their strained relationship. The degrading of this relationship is similar to Walter White's final days.
